How the membership is formed between you and us

After becoming a member, you will receive an e-mail from us that asks you to set your password. This email confirms that you have access to our courses and services. You will have access to all content covered by your membership plan as long as your payment method is valid. Unless you are on the Lifetime membership plan, your membership will be cancelled if your payment method expires. You have the right to cancel at any time.

Memberships

BTA members are able to purchase a monthly subscription at $10 per month. On subscribing, you enter into an agreement for payments to be deducted from your account at the interval you select normally monthly. Members who purchased either an annual membership at $100 per year can continue with this level of membership or may switch to the monthly membership. To change or cancel your agreement, please refer to the Cancellation and Refunds sections below.

It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of content, courses, pricing, may be incorrect. We are under no obligation to provide the course Service to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a membership confirmation email, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Payment for all courses must be by credit or debit card unless stated otherwise. We accept payment with various cards listed on the payment pages of Blockchain Training Academy.

Cancellation

We believe that the courses we are offering are a real asset for everyone involved in the Blockchain space. We are re-investing in the Blockchain Training Academy to continue to maintain and improve the courses and services it offers and we hope very much that the question of refunds will never cross your mind. However, in case it does, we have a Plain English Statement below which we hope makes the policy very clear. Please do not hesitate to write to us or call if there is anything we can do to clarify matters for you. You may contact us either by email to support@blockchaintrainingacademy.com or by telephoning 07460 899 810.

You may cancel a membership at any time within 7 working days beginning on the day after you received access. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the membership in accordance with our refunds policy below.

Monthly subscriptions - monthly subscriptions require no less than one month notice of your intention to terminate the subscription service. There are therefore no refunds available once the Membership is fully in place after the initial 7 Working Day cooling off period. To avoid any doubts No Administration Fee is charged on cancellation of the Monthly Subscription and no pro-rata refund is applicable; your access to Blockchain Training Academy will remain open until your most recent subscription payment has been fully delivered.

Annual Subscriptions – requests for refunds will only be processed during the first 90 days following receipt of your first or most recent payment.

Refunds are subject to a 20% Refund Administration Fee – e.g. for a $100 yearly membership we charge $20.00 for refund administration costs.

Refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis after the Setup Charge and Administration Fee have been deducted. Of course, your Statutory Rights are in no way affected by our policies and you have the right to cancel all access to the site within 7 days of entering your agreement with us.

Refund

When you cancel the membership we will process your request as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. If a refund is due, we will undertake this in accordance with Cancellation as set out above.

We will usually refund any monies due to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
